Your MasterCard EMV Debit Card Activation
You can activate your card and select a PIN by calling the number listed on the sticker on the front of your MasterCard EMV Debit Card, from a phone number associated with your primary account. If all information matches, your card will be activated and you will be allowed to select a PIN.
What if I can’t call from the number associated with my primary account?
You will be asked to verify a telephone number associated with your account, an additional security question regarding the primary account holder, and your new debit card number. If all information matches, the card will be activated and you will be allowed to select a PIN.
If the phone number does not match but the answer to the additional security question matches, the card will be activated but no PIN can be selected until your phone numbers are updated. You will need to contact the credit union during the business hours listed below, and your PIN can be set 24 hours after your telephone number has been updated.
How does a joint owner activate their new EMV MasterCard® Debit Card and set their PIN?
Joint owners follow the same process as above. The phone number requested and the additional security questions all relate to the primary account holder information.
